Women Cooperative Association for Saving and Credit - Bethlehem

The Women Cooperative Association for Saving and Credit was founded in Bethlehem officially in 2002, with an aim to organize the Saving and Credit operations in that area.

The Cooperative Association now consists of 15 groups including 416 contributing members until the end of 2019.

Vision:

A pioneer feminine association that provides financial services, specially (Saving and Credit) to its members, it has a vital role in providing a better life for its members in all life aspects, and it is an example of how giving, contributing in cooperation should be.

Mission:

Licensed feminine cooperative association, with a financial, administrative and independent personality, funded and run by its members, practicing (Saving and Credit), along with other development activities, aiming to develop rural Palestinian women, especially in Palestinian villages, enhancing their role in economic, social, cultural and political aspects, based on the rules, principals and cooperative work ethics that are based in Self-Management, democracy, equality, justice and cooperation.

Target Group:

The association targets female members from different areas of Bethlehem, who are 18 years old or above (No maximum age limit is determined), but its priorities for the next five years are ladies between the ages of 18 and 60 years old.
